We offer a complimentary phone consultation to address your concerns and needs, respond to your inquiries, and assess whether scheduling an evaluation is the appropriate next step.

Evaluations is the initial session to determine eligibility of services as well as determine how many days and/or time length is appropriate and create goals. Evaluations consist of a standardized assessment, observations, and a questionnaire to collect data and determine meaningful occupations. An evaluation report will be written and provided after the session through CarePatron. Evaluations will be an hour long and take place over one session in the child's home.

Our sessions consist of utilizing an individualized and multisensory approach involving a variety of sensory inputs. This method ensures that therapy is both effective and engaging, as we prioritize a play-based approach to enhance enjoyment and participation. Sessions will take place in the child’s home, community, or anywhere the child maybe having difficulty with. Therapist will discuss with parent/caregiver results from the evaluation the length of session that would be appropriate. Sessions lengths range from 15 minutes up to 90 minutes.

 Feeding therapy is a specialized treatment that helps children who struggle with eating, drinking, or chewing. It addresses challenges such as picky eating, food aversions, oral motor delays, or medical and sensory issues that affect mealtimes. This is led by an occupational therapists who is trained in feeding therapy. Feeding therapy focuses on building safe, healthy eating habits through personalized techniques that improve chewing and food acceptance while increasing the childs independence with mealtime. It is not just about getting kids to eat but about helping them enjoy food, eat safely, and grow healthily. Therapist will discuss with parent/caregiver results from the evaluation the length of session that would be appropriate. Sessions lengths range from 15 minutes up to 90 minutes.

Providing occupational therapy in the community for children focuses on helping them participate in everyday activities that support their development and independence. This includes practicing skills needed to go to the grocery store, play at the park, attend sports games, and other community events/locations. Therapists work on building social, motor, and sensory skills in real-life settings, helping children gain confidence and function more independently in their daily routines and environments. An initial evaluation will take place in the community of choice, where the therapist will assess the child’s needs and collaborate with the parent to create a personalized plan. Ongoing sessions will also take place in the community, with the parent present throughout to learn strategies and support their child’s progress. 

**If the selected community location is outside a 25-mile radius from the therapist’s office, an additional travel charge will apply.**
